P.S.

I did buy a new bike. Not as nice as my old one, but, what can you do. And I finally learned the way to the reservoir, which, if one has a little extra time for the ride out, is a great place to swim, as it is much larger than and never as crowded as the pool. The ants have re-invaded my clothes rack, but I'm going to give it a thorough RAIDing before I leave.... hopefully my room won't have been carried away by them by the time I get back. And, hot season has returned, the unseasonal rain has retreated, and I'm glad to be fleeing from the increasingly searing heat.
