Apologies for my absence... I'm about to have a longer one.
These past few weeks have been hectic, preparing for the upcoming trainings, and for my trip. I will be headed as last fall to the China and then the India borders with Burma, to facilitate reproductive health trainings on each border. I have also been helping to prep for the Village Health Worker training, which because of postponement, I unfortunately won't be able to attend, although it is my favorite program, and the one I have been most involved with. I will be away for 5 weeks, returning to Mae Sot in early May, to stay for only 5 days before leaving for another month - to attend a Burmese class in Rangoon, and then to the States, for 2 conferences, and a little visiting. I will be be in VT on May 24th for Chiquita's wedding, (tentatively) in NYC on the 25th, in DC from 26-30 (with some time in Baltimore in there some where, and some time with Rach in there somewhere), 31-1 with my folks, then to SF on the 2nd, to LA on the 5th, and back to BKK on the 8th.
So, I will have very spotty email access until June. I will be checking, just can't promise any regularity, and will have fewer opportunities to post. Still, don't forget about me! And I'll try to upload a few photos each time I pass through a major city, so you can track my progress.
