Back for a few days in Hanoi.
Last time I was here I found it to be a charming and most enjoyable city. This time it seems noisy, crowded, and hot. Granted, it was cool season last time, and I had more time to explore, whereas this time it is hot, and I have spent most of the time working. Still, I fear I'm becoming crotchety with age... Or maybe its just my disappointment in not being able to find any pho chay.
does this mean you only have internet access at cafes? we never did catch up last weekend :(
ReplyDeletep.s. as to your other posting, i think the amount of energy you put into evaluating yourself and identifying areas of improvement makes you the least idle person i know. i don't know where you find the strength! i just want to come home and be a couch bum after a mind numbing and rough week ... can't even consider the gym.
