Devastation

Alas, after a fierce battle, and a lead that lasted the first two rounds, NERDS 3.1 succumbed to the might of 'Vampires and Mary Poppins', and lost by one point at tonights trivia tournament. Second place entitles us to one free drink each, which will not be enough to ease our bruised egos. We did not know the name of a specified ethnic group in northern Burma, which country just pulled out of next year's 20/20 cricket tournament, and we missed the fall of the Khmer Rouge by a matter of days. Even this, was enough to spell our downfall. Fortunately, our bar credit from last week will hold us over until next week, even if our pride will not, and we can contend again, with the hope of once again emerging victorious.
